Behind the Great Firewall(GFW), people are able to have access to the unblocked western websites like Amazon, eBay and Reddit from China. Broadband makes up the majority of Internet connections in China. And a majority of broadband subscribers are DSL and Fiber provided by three state-run companies, China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile. China Telecom is the largest ISP (Internet Service Provider) and has an overwhelming market share in the south of China, while Unicom dominates the north; China Mobile, dominates the Chinese mobile services, is also the third-largest broadband ISP after took over China Tietong in 2008. According to the The 35th Survey Report from China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), these three companies accounted for more than 97% of International Internet Gateway Bandwidths in China.
But the larger international bandwidth doesn't mean the faster speed for international internet. The speed for the access to abroad websites, like their pricing for their broadband, may be different by regions. Before choosing your ISP, you'd better talk with your local friends for advices.
China Telecom is the largest ISP in mainland China and the third largest mobile telecommunication provider. And generally, its pricing is higher than any of competitors, but people believed that China Telecom provides the highest quality internet access. But from June 2015, some region reported that the speed for the access to abroad websites is very slow via its broadband. Although it has about 63% of international internet gateway bandwidth.

People are discussing this issue Shanghai Telecom limits access to the abroad 上海电信海外访问受限 on Weibo (A Chinese version Twitter), but haven't gotten any formal responses from China Telecom. The reason is unknown still.

China Unicom is the second largest ISP and mobile telecommunication provider. In most regions, its broadband can't running at the ordered speed stably. The speed may drop to the half at the peak time. But it's faster than China Telecom to visit abroad websites. And it's able to play the high quality streaming from Youtube over a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Comparing with Telecom and Unicom, China Mobile provides the fastest access to those abroad websites. This may be because China Mobile has less broadband subscribers.
imcczyh shared the test result on Weibo, connected a server in San Francisco via Shadowsocks by a 12 Mbps broadband from Jinhua, Zhejiang.
But before choosing the China Mobile, you need to check with its call center that your community whether has been covered by its cable/fiber. And in some regions, it sells broadband banded with IPTV and its mobile services. So it's hard to compare the price with others.
